Shooting Sports Youth

Are you interested in teaching youth about shooting sports? The Spring 2021 North Carolina 4-H Shooting Sports State Instructor Workshop is scheduled for April 10, 2021, and will be held at the Millstone 4-H Camp in Ellerbe, NC. Check-in will start at 8:30 a.m., training starts at 9 a.m., and the day should finish around 5:30 p.m.

The format for the 4-H Shooting Sports Instructor training is changing for this year’s spring workshop. This will be a one-day training with limited numbers and limited disciplines, and an online requirement. Registration deadline for the workshop is Wednesday, March 31.  There will be a maximum of 9 volunteers per discipline, first come first serve. There will be no youth/Jr. leaders for this workshop. We will conform to the social distancing and face-covering guidelines, so please bring the face covering of your choice.

You MUST be an official 4-H volunteer to attend this training. If you have not renewed your status for 2021 yet, please do so through 4-H Online 2.0. If you are not a volunteer yet but interested in becoming one, please contact Holly Jordan at holly_jordan@ncsu.edu.
