Project Record Book Folders
The 4-H program has a long history of record keeping. In 4-H, youth track their activities, events, skill development, and learning experiences, and much more using the 4-H Project Record Book. Each year, participating youth submit a Project Record Book at the County level for judging. After county judging, two participants per age division per category are submitted to the District Competition. At that competition, our youth compete against other youth in the state. A Gold, Silver and Bronze winner is selected in each category and age group.

Project Record Books:
-give youth an opportunity to reflect on what they’ve learned and accomplished through a year.
-document new skills and experiences in a written report to measure their achievements and growth.
-encourage youth to set goals, pursue strategies to meet those goals, and to overcome obstacles.
This year, Carteret County 4-H’ers found success {again} at the State Level. These youth will receive ribbons, medals and some will receive monetary awards.
