Kids Voting

Kids Voting NC is a non-partisan program that builds civic knowledge, civic skills, and civic identity & agency in North Carolina youth under 18.

Each election, Kids Voting NC offers NC 4-H programs the opportunity to participate in the Kids Voting NC Elections where youth vote on the same candidates and issue as adults!

How does kids voting work?

Kids voting is an easy, educational, and fun process for youth ages 6-17 to learn about the election process and vote on the same ballot that adults do in North Carolina. The following are ways to be involved in Kids Voting:

  • Visit the Board of Elections with your youth. The Kids Voting booth is set-up and ready for the to vote! Early voting is going on October 20-November 5! Election Day will be available on Tuesday, November 8!
