***Join classroom and nonformal educators as we explore activities in the Project Learning Tree K-8 Curriculum Guide AND the Forests of the World secondary module! Every participant will leave the workshop with both guides, provided free of charge to participants through support from the NC Forestry Association. CEU renewal credits are available. This workshop qualifies for Criteria I or II in the EE Certification Program. Lunch will be provided! First 10 people to register will have their registration fee waived through workshop grant sponsorship.

When: July 26-28Where: NEW this year, the skillathon and quiz bowl contests will take place in Riddick Hall on NC State Campus. The livestock judging contest will be held at the NCSU Beef Educational Unit, and then we will give reasons in Riddick Hall on Friday afternoon. We will hold the awards breakfast at the Talley Student Center on NCSU Campus. More information to come about an opportunity for all youth to socialize on Friday night after the judging contest.
Who: Youth ages 9-18
Costs: Skillathon $10 per kid, Judging $15 per kid, Quiz Bowl Free, Additional breakfast tickets can be purchased for $10 per ticket.
Since the Skillathon and Quiz Bowl contests and Livestock Judging Reasons will be held on Campus, we will be happy to order parking permits for anyone that would like. The cost is $5 per day, but please contact me as soon as possible so we can order them for you. You can also pay to park in the deck by the hour if you would prefer.
