Growing leaders, one gift at a time.
North Carolina 4-H is launching a new statewide giving campaign this National 4-H Week, inviting supporters to start with just $4 and help turn North Carolina green.
The $4 for 4-H campaign will take place October 4–8, bringing the 4-H community together around one statewide goal: receive at least one gift connected to each of North Carolina’s 100 counties.
100 Counties. One Statewide Challenge.
As gifts come in throughout the campaign, each will automatically be connected to a North Carolina county based on the donor’s address. The first gift connected to a county will turn that county green on the live campaign map.
The goal is simple: turn all 100 counties green by October 8.
Whether a supporter gives $4 or more, every gift moves the campaign closer to that goal while supporting the work of NC 4-H.
Every county. Every young person. Every gift counts.
Gifts made through $4 for 4-H support the 4-H Priorities Fund, which gives North Carolina 4-H leadership the flexibility to respond to the most pressing needs of young people and the programs that serve them.
The fund helps strengthen youth development programming across all 100 North Carolina counties, the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, three 4-H camps and specialty initiatives.
Support can help reduce financial barriers to participation and provide statewide educational programs, local activities, scholarships, camps and hands-on learning experiences. It also strengthens youth leadership development, volunteer training and programming in areas including STEM, agriculture, healthy living and civic engagement.
Together, those opportunities help young people develop the skills, confidence and experiences they need to become Beyond Ready for what comes next.
