4-H Presentations are a huge part of North Carolina 4-H. It is one of the most successful ways to help a young person learn how to do a public speech. It focuses on members teaching others what they know about a particular project/subject matter.
This year, NC 4-H held its annual District Activity Days in each Extension District in June with 518 4-H'ers participating. The District Gold and Silver Winners were eligible to participate in the State Presentation Finals which were held on July 16 on the campus of NC State University.
To see the excitement in our 4-H'ers who are preparing for their presentation is such a joy! Thank you to our 4-H Staff, Volunteers, and parents who have worked countless hours helping our young people prepare. Thank you to our Person In Charge and our Judges.
Congratulations to all participants for giving 100%. We had 287 4-H'ers compete at State 4-H Presentation Finals.
