On June 24-29, 2018, a total of 46 youth participants and adult coaches from across North Carolina traveled to Grand Island, Nebraska to compete in the annual National 4-H Shooting Sports Tournament. North Carolina placed fifth overall out of thirty-nine states represented.
The following are the final team results for the different disciplines:- Air Pistol - 12th place
- Air Rifle - 17th place
- Compound Archery - 2nd place
- Hunting Skills - 7th place
- Muzzle Loading - 12th place
- Recurve Archery - 5th place
- Shotgun - 16th place
- Smallbore Platol - 4th place
- Smallbore Rifle - 7th place
