Tournament Registration
Closes Monday, September 14, 2026
Coaches & Agents: Registration Instructions will be sent via email on August 24th. Registration will be open through September 14th.
Make checks payable to McDowell County 4-H. Payments will not be accepted onsite. All checks must be mailed to N.C. Cooperative Extension, McDowell County Center, 60 E Court St. Marion, NC 28752 and postmarked no later than September 14, 2026.

Volunteers
It takes the whole village to make this event successful! Please plan on at least 2 volunteers per county to help the day of the tournament. We need volunteers to help set up, run ranges (certified instructors), and tear down ranges, plus lots of help scoring (on-site training, no experience necessary).

- Saturday Morning:
- 7:45am Opening Ceremony
- 8:00am Tournament Starts
- More details will be emailed after registration closes.
- Closing ceremonies (awards) will take place at the Millstone ballpark stage after the ranges are cleaned up

Please complete the Federal Waiver 4-H Form (required Federal form for participation of youth in .22 pistol events) *Coaches must ensure that they have a completed form for each youth participant in .22 pistol. You may edit to include your practice dates as well. If you already have a signed form, that will suffice.
Youth Handgun Safety Act Notice referenced on form.
Each participant must have a completed 4-H Medical Information and Treatment Form on file with the coach at the tournament (these can be printed from 4-H Online member profile).
