The 4-H West District 4-H Volunteer Conference is open for registration! Exciting news! 
Volunteer Leader Conference Agenda
When: Saturday, October 28, 2023, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Where:
 The Mountain Horticulture Crops Research and Extension Center, 455 Research Drive, Mills River, NC 28759

What: 
Have you been wanting an opportunity to attend workshops? Or an interested parent to see what 4-H is about? But not sure about traveling to Raleigh for State events? This will be a great event for anyone to attend!
We will go “Back to the Basics” together learning in workshops, leaving with tools to utilize in your own counties and hear from a keynote speaker! Plus, there is breakfast, lunch, and even a chance for a raffle basket(s)!

  • Livestock Judging Program 
  • WHEP and Forestry
  • 4-H Tech and Communications
  • 4-H Ages and Stages
  • 4-H Horse in the West
  • Conduct electricity in 4-H 
To help cover costs associated with the event, Farm Bureau has graciously taken our #1 sponsorship package! Sponsorships are still available! Please share with manufacturers, businesses, and/or organizations you know in WNC interested in investing into our 4-H youth by investing into our youths best 4-H mentors!
Early bird registration deadline: Friday, September 29
Regular registration: Friday, October 13

Cost
$20 (Includes floating breakfast, lunch, and a t-shirt for early bird registration)
Payment: Payment can be sent via check or cash. Please, reach out if you need other options.
For Cherokee County please contact Shannon Coleman about payment.
Early bird registration will include a t-shirt upon submission! T-shirt cannot be guaranteed for regular registration.
