Individuals whose Private Pesticide Applicator license expires December 2024 may obtain credit toward recertification through September 2024. A total of four credit hours are required for renewal. Two of these hours need to be in Category V (Pesticide Safety) and two hours need to be in Category X (Specialty Training).

Specialty Training (Category X) credits are routinely offered by many groups, agencies, or events. Additionally, the NCDA & CS provides classes online. Specialty Training (Category X) hours need to be scheduled on your own.

Private Applicator Safety Training (Category V) are offered within Craven and Carteret as noted below. Registration is through Eventbrite and will end prior the event. Additional classes and credit hour information is available by visiting the NCDA & CS Pesticide Division’s website or calling (919) 733-3556.
