Collapse ▲Each year North Carolina 4-H honors alumni and individuals who have made a significant impact on the North Carolina 4-H Program. Please take a few minutes to nominate a 4-H champion. Nominations are due by June 1, 2017.
The North Carolina 4-H Hall of Fame. This award honors people who have made a significant impact on the North Carolina 4-H Program and forerunners of the 4-H Program, such as corn, swine, and tomato clubs. Honorees will be selected from nominations made each year. Nominations may come from County Extension Centers, 4-H Groups, North Carolina Cooperative Extension Staff, and individuals.
4-H Alumni – Outstanding Citizen Award. This award is given to an alumnus who has been involved in community and civic activities in outstanding ways.
4-H Alumni – Full Circle Award. This award is presented to an alumnus who has excelled in 4-H and has been active in continuing to support the work of 4-H.
Young Alumni Award. The Young Alumni award is presented to a 4-H alumnus under the age of 30 who has transitioned from 4-H member to active 4-H volunteer.
Nomination forms are due to the North Carolina 4-H Alumni and Friends Association no later than Thursday, June 1, 2017. Nomination forms can be emailed to mitzi_downing@ncsu.edu or printed and mailed. NC 4-H Hall of Fame inductions and Alumni Award presentations will take place in conjunction with NC 4-H Congress (Monday, July 31, 2017).
