4-H Volunteers: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow & Beyond

— Written By

Over 200 adult volunteers gathered February 2-4, 2018 in Durham, North Carolina for Volunteer Leaders’ Conference. The theme, “4-H Volunteers: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow & Beyond” celebrated all of the work that 4-H Volunteers have done, continue to do and will do in the future. With over 20,000 youth and adult volunteers in North Carolina, there are a lot of things to celebrate!

While at the conference, delegates had the chance to participate in interactive workshops on topics ranging from robotics to healthy living, learn with others from across the state, as well as elect and install new officers for the North Carolina 4-H Volunteer Leaders’ Association. During the conference, attendees celebrated and recognized 4-H Volunteer award winners and helped celebrate the achievements of those reaching new 4-H ACE levels.
