In this webinar, Lee Stiles speaks about his experience with substance misuse and the organization he founded to combat substance misuse, From the Pit to the Palace. Lee Stiles is a person in recovery who has taken a faith-based approach to the opioid epidemic, holding outreach services for those suffering from addiction and partnering with rehabilitation programs in Carteret County. Lee shares his testimony of substance misuse and distribution as a teenager, how he followed the wrong path, and subsequently found his way into recovery, and his advice to caregivers about how to help their youth avoid making the same choices.
