Poultry Biosecurity

Objective:


To increase understanding and expertise in poultry biosecurity (prevention of disease-causing agents) to protect small and large-scale flock health.    

Topics Include:


Disease prevention, vaccine programs, biosecurity farm protocols (e.g. foot baths, signage, etc.) National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP), health screenings, quarantine procedures after poultry shows, etc.
