North Carolina 4-H offers a variety teen programs where older youth can get involved in leadership, service, and statewide experiences. Whether they want to lead, connect, travel, or give back, teens can explore programs that help them grow, build confidence, and prepare for future opportunities.
Youth ages 13–18 are eligible to participate in North Carolina 4-H teen programs. Age is determined as of January 1 of the program year.
Congress
North Carolina 4-H Congress is an annual statewide event where youth come together to celebrate achievements, develop leadership skills, and connect with peers from across the state. Through recognition, workshops, and council involvement, participants gain meaningful experiences that help prepare them to be beyond ready.
State Council
The North Carolina 4-H Council provides youth with opportunities to take on leadership roles at the state level. Members represent their counties, contribute to statewide initiatives, and help shape the direction of the 4-H program while building confidence, communication, and leadership skills.
Honor Club
The North Carolina 4-H Honor Club recognizes senior members for their outstanding achievement, leadership, and service in 4-H. Inducted members continue to give back to the program through service, mentorship, and leadership while upholding the traditions and values of 4-H.
Clover Crew
Clover Crew provides youth with opportunities to build leadership skills while supporting 4-H programs and events. Through service, teamwork, and hands-on involvement, members gain experience working with others and helping create meaningful experiences for their peers.
