North Carolina 4-H Hosts State Presentation Finals

North Carolina 4-H Hosts State Presentation Finals

On July 21, North Carolina 4-H proudly hosted the State 4-H Presentation Competition, bringing together 359 talented youth from across the state. Participants showcased their knowledge, skills, and creativity through a wide range of topics, including horticulture, science, foods and nutrition, safety, arts & communications, agriculture, digital reality, foresty and wildlife, outdoor cookery, and more.

This event represents the culmination of months of preparation at the county and district levels. Each young person who took the stage demonstrated dedication, hard work, and a commitment to personal growth.

We extend congratulations to all participants for their outstanding efforts and to the winners for their exceptional achievements. North Carolina 4-H is proud of every member who embraced the challenge, shared their passion, and represented their communities with excellence.

4-H Presentations are a cornerstone of the North Carolina 4-H program, giving youth the opportunity to research a topic of interest, develop a presentation, and share their knowledge with an audience. Through this experience, participants strengthen valuable life skills such as public speaking, organization, and confidence, while deepening their understanding of their chosen subject. These skills not only help youth succeed in school and future careers but also prepare them to become effective leaders and communicators in their communities.

If you’re interested in participating in 4-H Presentations, contact your local 4-H Agent for details. District competitions will take place in June 2026.
