What is AIRE?

AIRE (Application, Interview, Resume, and Essay) is the selection process used by North Carolina 4-H to choose youth delegates for national 4-H leadership experiences. Through this program, 4-H members may be selected to represent North Carolina at:

Youth ages 14–18 are eligible to participate. Age is determined as of January 1 of the current program year.

    2. The resume should provide an overview of the applicant’s skills, experiences, and personal development.
