Required Volunteer Supervision Ratios

- NEW NC Shooting Sports Authorization & Consent Forms Packet (Paper Copy for both Youth & Adult Volunteers)
- REMINDER: Youth & Adult Volunteers registering to participate in any 4-H Shooting Sports Club or Program as a participant and/or Volunteer must select the appropriate shooting sports discipline (i.e., rifle, etc.) when enrolling/re-enrolling in 4-HOnline. When a shooting sports discipline is selected, 4-HOnline automatically generates the required system consents/authorizations for completion.
- VIP: 4-H Shooting Sports Clubs are required to maintain on-site a signed "paper copy" of the "NC Shooting Sports Authorizations & Consent Forms" for every youth member and adult volunteer associated with the club. *The primary club leader must maintain a club notebook with these documents, member health forms, the club roster, calendar, etc.
- All 4-H Shooting Sports Volunteers are automatically considered Level 1 Volunteers, which requires completing the annual Minor Regulation Training (online) and a background screening once every three years (conducted by NCSU).
