NC 4-H Camps empower youth to gain interpersonal life skills, ecological knowledge and community awareness through an experiential learning model. We create a positive environment that promotes leadership, social and emotional growth for all young people.
Day and overnight school field trip programs are available in the spring and fall at the Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Center and at The Eastern 4-H Center. Curriculum is aligned with state teaching standards and is taught by professional outdoor and environmental educators utilizing beautiful outdoor classroom settings. Students learn important science process skills and gain hands-on experience in E-STEM disciplines.
